Paramore have confirmed a person “bodily and verbally assaulted a number of girls” at their Salt Lake Metropolis live performance.

Hayley Williams and co have been unaware of the alleged incidents whereas on stage at The Nice Saltair in Utah on Oct. 4, because it all occurred out of their view.

The abusive man was restrained and escorted out of the venue by safety.

The band has apologized to those that have been sufferer to or witnessed the acts of “violence, homophobia and bigotry.”

Paramore mentioned that had they seen the assaults, the ‘Distress Enterprise’ hitmakers would have stopped the present instantly.

They wrote: “Ultimately night time’s present in SLC, we have been made conscious of an incident that occurred within the crowd whereas we have been on stage.

“A person bodily and verbally assaulted a number of girls, together with an engaged couple at our present. Our safety crew and venue employees have been made conscious and have been in a position to restrain and take away him.
